Gone are the days when clinicians could assume that cybersecurity was the IT department’s problem, as security breaches and cyberattacks pose real threats to patient care. Experts urge organizations to raise awareness among clinicians, encourage reporting of tech-related anomalies and plan for downtime and recovery from breaches and cybercrime.
